It’s no secret that Huawei has often inspired by the decisions of other companies. Tablet design is very good, its dimensions (214.4 × 120.7 × 7.9 mm) easily allow to hold the device in one hand, with the weight of 329 grams it does not create a large load, so the long-term operation of discomfort does not arise. The front panel of the unit has a minimum frame size with comfortable grip which is stored either in landscape or portrait orientation. The main part of the panel holds 8.0″ display with a fairly mediocre oleophobic coating. Top and bottom of the front has front stereo speakers, behind bars in addition to these hidden LED display and earpiece. In the upper right corner there is a separate area where the light sensor and proximity, as well as the front camera.
The left side of the tablet is completely empty, and the right is a lock button and volume rocker, they have a clear course, but rather a strong backlash. On the bottom there is a connector microUSB 2.0 and spoken microphone. On top is a 3.5mm headphone jack and an additional microphone for noise cancellation. The rear panel has a metallic coating with white inserts plastic at top and bottom, on top is the main camera eye, and hidden under the bottom connectors MicroSIM card and MicroSD card slot for up to 32GB. Centered on a metal plane is the logo Huawei.
The design of this tab is pretty interesting and now Huawei is preparing another high end tablet comparable to upcoming Apple iPad Air 3.
