OnePlus One: A Revolutionary Smartphone

OnePlus is one of those brands, which got extreme rise in the smartphone industry. Company was founded by Pete Lau who was the vice president of the Chinese company Oppo is fairly well known manufacturer of high-priced smartphones. Lau was one of the heads of departments, producing Blu-ray-players.

In late 2013 Pete Lau leaves the Oppo and announces the creation of the company OnePlus, which should focus on the release of a new smartphone – a steep, low-cost, innovative, and so on.

So what? Equipment’s the technical characteristics are quite flagship. And you are getting all in very low price. The only thing that attracts attention in OnePlus One – is the lack of support for memory cards. But if you have 64 GB of on board is generally not a problem.

The phone comes in a box with carrying phone, a separate box with a network adapter with wall plug, jack for nanoSIM. Packing of the phone – impressive: at once clear that developers are seriously engaged in its design. Which, incidentally, is not too typical for Chinese companies often like quality gadgets come in such nightmarish boxes that are easy to take arms unpleasant. Everything in the box is packed in a creative way, carefully rolled USB-microUSB cable and clip for pulling the liner under the sim card, equipped with a ring fob – apparently.

The phone’s design is characterized by the word “decent”. No frills, all the upper part is covered with glass Gorilla Glass 3, around the glass – edging chromed polycarbonate, on which stands the glass. The back of the smartphone is covered with a nice touch rough plastic, making phone perfectly in the hand and does not slip. Next to the camera hole is the third microphone used for noise reduction. On the left side is barely noticeable power button. On the right side is as unobtrusive volume rocker. But that power button, the volume is – do not cause discomfort, pressed quite clearly and distinctly. Next to the volume rocker is compartment to insert a sim card. The top end is a headset output and a second microphone (also for noise reduction, as well as the third). The bottom end is speakers (a very good position not jammed under any circumstances use), the output ports of the main microphone and microUSB.

Overall, OnePlus One is a good designed smartphone but this year, OnePlus has to work hard on design and other factors if it wants to stand in the market for the upcoming leading phones as Xperia Z5 and Galaxy Note 5. But the Xperia Z5 release date is no near, so OnePlus has enough time.
